The Friendship Shelter, Inc. is the homeless shelter serving the Gaylord, Michigan area.

 

In addition to providing food and shelter, a major focus of the shelter is training designed to teach people how to avoid becoming homeless.

Announcements

The Friendship Shelter is pleased to announce that the Otsego County Community Foundation has awarded grant monies to the shelter to make the shelter office handicap accessible.  The dollars were distributed from the Scott and Janice Lampert Fund.  Executive Director Kathy Arndt is excited to make the shelter a more inviting atmosphere for those with disabilities.  Look for our new addition to be finished this Summer!
